As with anything, Chris, one must start slowly. Wikipedia has a brief, simple and helpful lesson on Elliott Wave. (Just don't expect your waves to look exactly like the ones on this (or any) site. The most difficult part is often picking the points to begin or stop on a given wave.
Also, Thomas Bulkowski (The Patternsite.) is the best! It is loaded and you must navigate in small increments or be overwhelmed.
