As a result of SEC working closely with FINRA in tightening the screws on the microcap MMJ sector (they really are committed), GWPH (Nasdaq) seemed attractive as a way to grow in the sector long term with far less risk. GWPH holds the key patents. Of course, short term technical windows in high-risk OTC MMJ sector do present from time to time, and I use mad money to play them, but I'm reluctant to hold them overnight. Before noon is usually but now always when SEC suspends. More than a few of the names in the microcap MMJ that we see now are going to bite the dust, in my view.
