My definition is someone who has never sold the vast bulk of shares they purchased over one year and one day ago. They may also have been adding as they go along...I have when I can. It's not rocket science. A long knows who they are a pretender is usually ambivalent about the definition. That is my definition. There is no share count criteria in my estimation. One or ten million held over one year and one day although I would think most would have at least 10,000 or so shares long.
