A true story.

Years back I raised chickens and had a "super" rooster  I had named Purgatory, he was one hell of a rooster.  Anyone who knows anything about chickens knows that if you put a strange hen around a rooster the first thing he will do is "run her down". Well, a friend suggested that we see just what kind of "man" Purgatory was so we began introducing strange hens to him one at a time and just as you would expect, in just a matter of a few seconds he would have the strange hen bred and he did this successfully thirteen times in a row. When we introdued him to hen number fourteen poor Purgatory must have been worn out. It was all he could do to crow once, strut just a little, then retired to the back of the pen for a much needed rest.
