The patent is not going to protect tigerlynk much, for a couple of reasons. 1. As been posted, there is not a lot of time left before the patent expires. 2. A machine can be altered so it doesn't infringe on the patent. I've been through this.
The good and bad news is I haven't heard of anyone trying to copy it. Good, because it could still do a lot of good if only they would harvest, get the money and build it. Bad, because since it appears no one has tried to copy it, one could wonder how good it really is.
