If you were in high tech industry, esp working one some hardware stuff, you will get familiar with those kinds of delay. even, many companies use this hunger marketing way to promote their products before the product release.
You can just search product delay for Apple, Amazon, Xiaomi or any other companies. This is too often.
Startup should focus on the winner of the end-game, not starting the game. So MTK entered into cellular market pretty late, but they capture the marketshare in Asia quickly, because they learned a lot from the poineers.
I don't want NTEK to be the first loser of 4k market. So be patient and give them some time to learn, improve. in this case, 1 year delay is not an issue.
I watched all the news about NAB2014, 4K is just started. There are 5~6 years of the market window ahead.
