According to your theory the bashers would go away if BCAP diluted itself into the ground and the companies they work for could cover their short positions at $0.0001.
Fact is the share count has been maxed for just under twelve months and is now locked for two years (except in the very unlikely shareholders vote to dilute themselves into the ground).
If you're right, the howling gets worse until the S-1 filing is complete.
