Yes, the old accountant quit or was fired......or lost big time at the daily poker game and couldn't ante up.
But suggesting that the new accountant can't get up to speed on BLTA in a 3+ month period is just giving HQ too much rope to hang themselves with.
The biggest problem here is that HQ doesn't truly believe that they have to answer to anyone.
Once you hand over your check, they have absolutely no interest in dealing with you....until, of course, they start looking for the next check.
Gives new meaning to the term "booty" (as in "money" ) call...............
