I am all for swinging for the fences when it won't kill us to strike out. I do like your idea of getting someone in Treaty that has the know how and maybe even the land. We could do a 50/50 split with the drilling company. We get the lease because of the land owner getting shares, the driller pays for the drill and the completion for a 50% cut after royalties and we keep the other 50%. The driller gets 80% to 85% until they recoup their cost and then it is 50/50 after royalties. We do these kind of deals all the time on good leases.
