I am still up in the air about charting, I can see the usefulness for plotting historical support ranges or dissecting a stocks reaction to specific event. I am just not convinced it can predict the future of a stock as there are too many variables to make it dependable. It seems a lot like numerology or astrology to me. No offence Pete, and I don't mean to bash the science of charting, but given the fact that man has been looking for pattern in chaos since the beginning of time, can a chart actually predict a stock will drop on good news or sky rocket because sellers finally ran out of shares? How can a chart predict the greed or foolishness of mans? I am not so sure just because we know our history that we can predict the future, just guard against the mistakes of the past....but I have been wrong once or twice.
