Tough to put a lot of faith in this PR right now. I know we're all expecting more.
All speculation of course, but here is what I read into this
Possible PROS
"a full timber harvest will commence upon the concession holder receiving the formal 'on-site' permit" With emphasis on the word 'full', I could read this to mean that trees are/have been cut and larger operation will begin with final permit. (as was the case with Alana's company I read.).
"The timber is abundant and the quality of the wood is excellent," There was much talk about quality and types of trees that may be present and what dollar amounts they could bring. This statement sounds promising that the expensive stuff is in excellent shape.
Possible CONS
"No time table has been provided to the Company regarding the issuance of the on-site permit." Considering that HIMR has consistently been unreliable on time frames even when they state things will happen soon, a statement of 'no time table' leaves me fearful that they just sent this out to give a wave that we're around, but it sounds like they are building an excuse for an even longer stretch of silence and/or inaction.
They have said in a couple responses to shareholder emails, that they will not PR with fluff, but I for one do not see meat on the bone in this message and unfortunately this reads as a PR to garner interest of newer shareholders into the underwater forestry concept. It is not addressed to nor does it provide answers for current shareholders.
They made no mention of buyback status, which was the big focus in one of the last PR's months ago and now say, "In the interim, management indicated that the Company will remain keenly focused on refining the logistics and supply chain in preparation of launching full-scale operations, and, on project developments where there are numerous opportunities to expand the business globally." Yes, yes, we all k now there are numerous opportunities to expand this type of business, but your "focus" is all over the board. "Focus" means nothing without results.
You make mention now of another permit being needed. Explain yourselves and this situation then. You were blindsided by this requirement? Did you not do due diligence into this venture years ago? You are earning every bit of bashing you get, because you are ridiculous in how you are conducting business.
Overall, I'm very disappointed in the Hollund management "team". This message leads only to more speculation. It doesn't answer anything from the prior PR's that we were supposed to be watching so intently for. Where is the straightforward business and communication?! I highly question the ability of these guys.
I guess in fairness, I should not expect too much information in a "PR" anyhow, but as responsible businessmen, I certainly would expect to see better communication on the inside! Your shareholders are screaming at you for information. You CAN provide proof to us that you are real and doing what you say with consistent updates, pictures, etc, I cannot understand why you choose not to. Are you simply that inexperienced? If so, I think were all in trouble, because while you flounder about with concepts and "focus", more experienced players are going to come in and take the ball.
