If a company can spend the same amount running a processor or two to process their plastic waste rather than send the waste to a landfill, then they will probably find it worth the upfront expense. Improving their green image is worth something.

I would think that after a few years (for the right customer with the right type of waste) the customer could even come out ahead as the value of the fuel generated from the waste goes directly to their bottom line, subtracting out the cost of personnel to run the processors.

I don't for a minute believe that the asking price of $8 million per processor will ever be realized. Maybe half of that.
