Officially JBI can still produce fuel for under $10/bbl which can be sold for WTI-$3. Neither Mr. Bordynuik nor the company have ever backed off those claims, even though by now it's obvious those claims are fictitious.
In fact four years ago with the $80,000 processor with just the catalyst added, Mr. Bordynuik was very vocal about those claims and even handed out samples which were shown to run in a lawnmower. Production was supposedly 109 barrels of fuel per day for under $10 per barrel (less than $0.25/gallon) which could fully run a gasoline engine. As you can imagine, Mr. Bordynuik was saying a lot of things which just weren't true and it's pretty likely that the fuel samples were highly misrepresented.
