NY Post is very widely circulated and credible. It may be called a "tabloid" by the liberal crowd who love their NY Times.
The Post tends to run "tabloid"-esque headlines though. Its pretty funny stuff.
For example, when Gov. Cuomo blasted Anthony Weiner as he was running for NYC mayor, the Post headline was "Cuomo Spanks Weiner". Hilarious, and a very factual article followed.
