I don't have experience with it, but I don't think it can be that cut and dry. In your situation, fine. But the contract might read otherwise. This is also only the first installment of the shipment. If the first shipment doesn't sell, you think they're definitely on the hook for the remainder? I wouldn't think so. My concept might be a little far-fetched, but I don't think a product that might not sell has been purchased for millions and millions of dollars already. I think they'll have to pay for that first shipment, and there's probably some clause that gets them out of the contract.
