Indeed, 7. Good morning, everyone. Anyone feel like this morning is the Super Bowl Day-After Party? No worries, here's what I believed happened yesterday...
"Short Windfall"--Let me ask you, what date is it today? Today is 4/30/2014! What is significant about that date? What happens twice per month in the stock market on or about the 15th and 30th? Short numbers are reported! And what significant event took place last month (or the month before, I can't remember which) regarding short reporting for OTC stocks? Firms can no longer "naked short" and must have shares readily available for REG SHO (clearing house cash) purposes. Are you seeing a picture forming here? Well, I didn't either until this morning when I looked at my computer screen and noticed the date was 4/30/2014! So then I went to OTCShortReport.com and low and behold look what popped up:

Singing to the tune of 155,271,353 shares were short volume yesterday? Shorts cashed in their shares so (A) they wouldn't have to be reported to the SEC and (
didn't get caught with their pants down (C) Took the opportunity to reload the boat and go long--notice the strong close yesterday @ 8.
