Hi DougeTX. They cut, then dry. If in a true kiln, it can be done in a matter of weeks. If open air, depending on the humidity, it can take months.
Psy, I have to think it is something other than permits, etc. They should be able to be selling off the dock/landing for cash.
While I doubt it, I am hoping they are waiting until they have stack of logs on the shore.
