Yes, Pinks are tradeable (investable) within Roths (at least Schwab allows it). I have a small Roth which is 100% loaded in FITX. So, no apparent share restrictions either.
You will, however, be hit with a larger exchange fee for each transaction (larger, that is, than any fees you'd pay trading NYSE, NASDAQ or AMEX listed stocks.
