joey: You're right. Focusing on products only is like looking at less than half of a picture. The other half and more is management and insider dealings. Start-up companies, even those with saleable products, are demonstrably disadvantaged by incompetent management or management without the appropriate skillsets. Opportunistic insiders can compound the burden.
