Alright I'm lost then Chicagoinvestor... Because on December 31st I tried really hard to purchase 6 million shares as fast as I could. Sadly Schwab would only allow blocks of 999,999 maximum... So I placed several orders for "market price" at one share shy of a million... 2 of the orders filled and the rest did a partial fill in various amounts until it reached the requested 999,999 shares. The entire process took roughly 18 minutes. And each block request was only charged a fee of $8.95, irregardless of whether it was completely filled or partial. So how does purchasing in amounts less than 5k apply? <br />I just wish to learn more, thx
