Somalia's Gas Preserves Ready for Investment

The head of the Petrol Department for the Somali Federal Republic Hussein Ali Ahmed spoke to the press today in Mogadishu and highlighted a recent conference he attended in Tanzania.
Ahmed mentioned that Somalia was among the countries in the East Africa with a large quantity of raw gas preserves available and beneficial to investors.
"There has already been an agreement signed allowing a British company to explore Somalia's oil and gas reserves." Said Ahmed Hussein Ali Ahmed described the participation of the conference to make the most out of Somalia's national resources.
