Dave here's some advice: DO NOT underestimate your business acumen or your role on the board. It's not an honorary or symbolic seat, you have a fiduciary responsibility now regardless of how you want your role to look. We all have to take the good with the bad in our jobs. I trust your judgement. Please do not underestimate yourself. Please don't let HJ snake-charm anything by the board that doesn't pass the smell test. The best question you can ask is... why?
