Correct. I put a limit buy order in at .06 - the ask was at .590
It took between 15 and 20 min to execute. Yesterday I was buying at the ask b/c I had quite a few shares to accumulate and didn't want to play around so I would wait for a sizable ask and just meet it. Execution took about 5 seconds. Not that I care all that much and would not have even mentioned it but for someone else mentioning it - but I am always slightly paranoid that things are being manipulated. When 10K shares are being offered at .0590 and I put an order to buy 100K shares at .06 I would expect that to be filled immediately. Then when I saw that someone else put their bid in above the ask and it was not getting filled I figured I would share my experience as well. I don't really know anything about MM's and just have speculation about how they operate but that just didn't smell right to me.
