The Empress Project consists of a total of fifty-eight (58) mining claims covering 1,160 acres located approximately 26 miles south of Goldfield, Nevada, in the Topok mining district located in the southern portion of the Walker Lane mineral belt. The Walker Lane mineral belt is a 60+ mile wide corridor that runs NNW-SSE along the California Nevada border and has produced a reported 35,000,000 gold equivalent ounces since the mid-1880s. This district has hosted many well-known gold mines, including the Round Mountain open-pit mine, the Tonopah mine, the Goldfield mine, and the Silver Peak mine.
