HIMR is an American company with a Canadian President and Vice President. The difference could wind up being important. Consider our two competitors in Panama - Coast Eco Timber (Canadian) and Ardan International/Gunderboom (is American in that Gunderboom is). The Export Import Bank of the United States is part of the federal government and has the vague charter to support U.S. businesses and jobs. Ardan International/Gunderboom was able to get a 3M line of credit through Wells Fargo because it was 90% guaranteed by the Export Import Bank. So, being an American business might facilitate getting the friendly financing we need now. I don't know at what stage in Ardan's timeline they got that financing.
