Did you consider converting the Traditional IRA to a ROTH?
.I did this with 2 IRA's last year, paid the tax this month and that's it.
Was not cheap to get hit all at once, but if the investments go up in value I'm thru paying taxes on withdrawals.
Must be 59.5+ for withdrawals not to have penalties.
Your handle says you qualify...lol.
Talk to your tax prepairer.....you can due it now and pay the taxt April 15, 2015.
