Oh heck. Promoters do not need to be compensated by a third party to make money on their shenanigans with OTC stocks. They just need to promote based on the half-truths told by the company, sell/short (if they can short) after the run up, then wait until the air has been let out to start all over again.
Likewise, naysayers do not need to be compensated if they are able to short. But I do not see any evidence that being able to do naked shorting of JBII is a reality.
So I would say the promoters have the upper hand. Buy low, promote the heck out of it, sell after the run up on feel good news, rinse, repeat. No need for fabricated shares, real or imagined.
