I think the key is maybe to use board feet....One 100 ft tree will be WAY more in board feet than on 50 foot tree due to the diameter of the base of the tree.  So, maybe the top 1/2 is 2500 bf, and the bottom 1/2 is 3500 bf.  I'm making those numbers up, but you get the point.

So, 100  50' trees @ 2,500 is 250,000 bf. 

50 100' trees might be 6,000 (2,500 top, 3,000 bottom), or 300,000 bf. 

Just making up that example, but the point is it would be nice to know the price per BF and then the BF per day, as those 100 ft trees are going to have some good old bottom halves and some great 8' cuts for some expensive finished product.
