I was reading some posts by Tex about how realistic some estimates are on the number of trees per day.  He has some good points.  There's more to it than cutting them.  How long does it take just to get to the next tree.  Then I started thinking about the weight of these trees and came across a neat sight  http://www.woodweb.com/cgi-bin/calculators/ca...amp;metric = and that doesn't account for water weight.  Many tons a piece I would think.  The tigerlynk must be a beast to handle that much volume and weight.  It's fun to think about.
