Guys, not sure if you've seen this guys Youtube channel. He's located in eastern panama and familiar with the area. After having messaged him it's clear he's heard of one company trying to get operational. He may be able to provide additional information for us. I just don't know the right questions to ask. Also, could he have some connection with our competition? I don't want to let on too much.

" *****, the only logging company I know to be actively working at Lake Bayano is CoastEco. They have been there for awhile, are very active, and are well-recognized for their work earlier at Lake Gatun and now their program at Lake Bayano. I occasionally here there are others who are supposed to be also doing this at some point, although I am not aware of any actual logging. It is possible, however, that this is happening somewhere on the lake and I am not aware of it.. In any case, you are probably talking about CoastEco. They have received very good reviews for their work! Here is their website. http://www.coastecotimber.com/en/panama-wood.html
If you are in Panama City at some point, they have a really nice showroom of the wood products they are selling that are made from Bayano wood. Worth a visit!
I hope this answers your question. Thanks for writing!
