We made the Pilot and three episodes knowing that Brandon's agent had ties at Comedy Central and they where looking for this type of show.  I personally think it was really good but they did not agree.  After we completed it they turned it down.  I have since shopped it around and had no luck selling it.  Looking back and knowing what I do know, I would never have done 3 episodes and would have had a deal on the table before moving forward.  There a several key ingredients that shows need to be to be sell able.  Static did not have these.
