Only 2 methods causing this (my opinion)
1. Shorts sellers attempting to scare retailers into a selloff allowing them to cover
2. Selling low keeping the price down shaking retailers allowing commercial to load  

The sell order it too low causing a red candle. Its done on purpose.. that I know.
