No recital and no new alias, I'm just a realist. I've been in aviation for most of my adult life and have dealt with the FAA regarding military aviation as well as commercial aviation. I have seen 40-year-old regulations take six months to wade through to achieve the desired end state. I have also been party to the FAA's quick dismissal of matters that are considered a "waste of time." That is how bureaucratic the FAA can be - every Inspector, FSDO, etc, can form their own opinions on the "way things should be." I have seen "working guides" take precedence over black and white CFRs based on an Inspector's lack of experience in a subject. Oklahoma City is rarely of any assistance. How well do you think a FSDO handles a brand new process?

While this discourse does nothing to get Baltia in the air, I can say that I am confident that they one day will be. Although I know him not in person, I am certain that Old and Wise will agree that it can take a while to witness the fruits of an investment, him with AA and me with Fannie Mae. While I hope that it doesn't take as long as the two aforementioned stocks did, I can say that I understand what they are up against.

Say otherwise if you must, but I cannot recall another time that Baltia was in Phase II of certification, had pilot training in progress, and had their aircraft undergoing the final conformity check.
