Kalitta is very reputable - in my estimation it is good to have them on our side. They obviously have taken an interest in getting Baltia off the ground, and the Kalitta family is good at getting airlines off the ground.

I think that barring any unforeseen complications with the maintenance, early May is a reasonable expectation. I may be reading into it a little far regarding the relationship between Baltia and Kalitta, but I'm inclined to think that Kalitta would not have sold them a dud airplane. I'm venturing a guess that Conrad Kalitta stands to make some good money on the deal separate from the hangar space and use of facilities.

Now I am speculating pretty hard, but it's Sunday, it's my birthday, the market is closed, and I can't think of anything better to do.
