It was an odd platform feature at earlier PJ website considering that the NY statehouse has not, to date, passed a bill legalizing medical cannabis and forwarded it to the governor's desk. No matter that nine out of ten New Yorkers polled support legalization of MMJ and there is stong bipartisan suppport in the statehouse (assembly and senate) for MMJ. The Assembly passed the bill four times. But the co-presidents of the NY Senate -- one a Democrat (Klein); the other a  Republican (Skelos) -- have not allowed the bill to come to a vote in their chamber. Either one can block a bill from a full vote. Skelos now says he's open to CBD oil and vapes. Klein still plays his losing hand. Something rotten there.
