I don't know. I've seen posts that show NTEK is a partner with Amazon.com and other online stores. I've seen posts that say the Amazon box has coincidentally been delayed at the exact same times as the NTEK box, and as many times as the NTEK box. I've seen posts that say it costs under 300 dollars, same as the NTEK box. There seem to be many similarities between the 2.
Now, if the A box doesn't stream 4k, wouldn't they be shooting themselves in the foot? I mean, coming out at the same price point as a box that does? A box that belongs to a partner of A.com? A box that is partnered with all the people NTEK has?
As I said, I don't know. But if NTEK says they have partners of 2 giant national retail chains that are set to announce the NP-1 by Mid April, doesn't it seem that Amazon would want in on the action rather than debuting a box that will be obsolete before it debuts?
After all, Amazon was at CES too! They know what a great double award winning box NTEK has! Why would they not want to buy the OEM NP-1 box from NTEK and rebrand it as their own?
I don't know.
