Someone with smarts will "steal" the concept and execute it successfully. Recall SCTV's runaway success of the "Great White North" sketches with the "McKenzie Brothers" who became a multi-million dollar franchise with films, videos, toys, books, games etc.
The premise is too good to be wasted as it is now. Someone else will take this underutilized concept and gain a weekly viewership of about two million eyeballs and the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. If Savage and Steph had some backing, they could doubtless do a very good job in exploiting the untapped potential of the concept.
