See this is strange, I don't get why he thinks that the private partner didn't also get equity in the company. It clearly states in the PR that the private investor was given an equity stake in the company for 20 million dollars in financing. We cannot own 100% of it or we lose financing AB jumped the gun on that one he doesn't make sense. 

Now what if the equity stake was only 5% or 10% or 15%!!! that is definitely amazing and will make the PPS rise even more but he is foolish to think that no equity was given in exchange for the money. Especially when it clearly says it in the PR.
