I was talking to an attorney I use to work with last week and mentioned to him again that he should look into PHOT. I did not suggest he buy it, I only suggested that he take a look at it and decide for himself.  A little while later, he let me know that he called his broker and his broker told him that he didn't think it was a good idea but A LOT  of his clients have called him lately about it.... My jaw DROPPED, I couldn't believe that he went solely on the advice of a single broker without doing any research or anything on his own.  How can people put not only their hard earned money, but their faith in the opinion of ONE person??  I just find it EXTREMELY odd..... but you know what???... there are millions of people out there that follow this same way of investing.

Is it to hard to do a Google search??  Read some articles?? ASK AROUND for God's sake?? 

Then, I was speaking to another friend of mine... a doctor a few weeks ago who proudly exclaimed that she TOO had invested in PHOT... only to find out Monday that she did NOT invest in PHOT, when she called her broker, they informed her that they did not invest any of her portfolio in PHOT  as she requested because they don't invest in those types of companies..apparently nobody at the firm thought to call her and let her know. I just put my hands over my mouth in shock... I felt sooo bad for her, she has been thinking she was invested since the .30's... she was NOT happy about this situation AT ALL... she had done the research, she made the decision she liked and believed in her DD, only to find this out from them LATER??  It's just WRONG!!!.... I told her to open an account with Ameritrade or Etrade and do it herself.

Sooooo sad to hear these stories.
