Have been reading through the posts.  I want to make sure I am understanding what I'm reading.  Obviously all stocks go up and down, some more dramatic than others.  Would it be preferable for a stock to do this that you were planning to hold long term, say over 1+ years??  In other words, small percentage gains over a longer period means the stock will do better in the long run when good news comes out.  In my mind that means, "not creating a bubble".......but not sure if this is the right way to think about it.  thanks
