I'm very certain that $8 - $9M figure came straight from Mr. Bordynuik's posterior. It's a number which if ever occurred would keep the company solvent. It also plants a binary outcome in the minds of shareholders. They can now convince themselves it's at least 50/50 and optimistically convince themselves that a $9M sale has a high probability.
In reality, if JBI couldn't squeeze a dime out of anything after trying for five years, it might be hard to convince someone to pony up $9 million to take their own shot. In reality, the only difference between running a processor at JBI and a customer running one is the cost of transportation of the feedstock, assuming a customer produces waste on site which actually gets turned into something more valuable in the processor. Since it costs about $25 to move a ton of anything all the way across the U.S., those transportation costs aren't high enough to make a difference.
JBI could just as well pay a nominal fee to haul waste from one of these customer targets to JBI's facilities but they can't make it work. A customer won't fare any better with JBI's processor.

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product and/or technology even more revolutionary.
