For anyone in love with Mary Jane...an interesting article

"Tweed is excited to be transforming the former Hershey chocolate factory in Smiths Falls, Ontario, into a state-of-the-art licensed facility for growing and harvesting medical marijuana."

"Tweed is a Canadian company established to supply an unmatched selection of premium medical marijuana to treat symptoms such as chronic pain, seizures, muscle spasms, nausea and loss of appetite."

Tweed's Chairman is Bruce Linton, who serves on the board for a current TSX Venture issuer. While Tweed is not public at the moment, it would not surprise me if it did eventually
list.

But, if for nothing else, the takeaway from the sudden rise in share price, and extreme influx in volume for Canadian medical marijuana stocks, tells me that there is a boatload of speculative money on the sidelines that is desperately looking for a place to invest.

Show speculators an industry that is poised for long-term growth and they'll jump in, head-first. Politics aside, the marijuana industry has growth potential unrivaled by virtually any other sector at the moment.
