Why not.  We always do, and until the NP-1 is launched (Yes, I know, NTEK has said many times in various forms it has been launched already, but until it actually is), the price is subject to go even lower.  Maybe even 5 cents.  In spite of their proclamations to the contrary, the NP-1 is just getting to distributors, much less actual individual buyers.  (at least thats my take)

But when it does, the pps may go back to 17 cents or so.  But when they have 10's of thousands out there (like they alluded to last fall), or hundreds of thousands, then, we may see 50 cents or a dollar.  It may even happen this year.  But given all the misdirection seen so far, it would be pushing it to see that many units out so soon.  By that time, the 2nd generation will be almost ready for production.  What was the timetable for the next gen chip release?  Sometime this year wasn't it?  Then maybe the 2nd gen will be ready in a little over a year.  That one should go quicker.
