In the fall of 2012 when I started investing in the 3D printing space I was getting a lot of information from Seeking Alpha.

At the time I was believing the information that was published on their website. Sadly it took me about 3 months to figure out that they definitely have an agenda to manipulate stocks to their advantage. One day a horibble bashing article would get published about the stock I was in and the price would drop a few ticks as people sold off.

Then within a day or two another article written by a different "contributor" would get published and it would pump up the stock and then sure enough the stock price would go up a few ticks because people would buy.

Seriously I got so damned confused trying to figure it all out that I finally realized these two guys were probably sitting in cubicles right next to each other and working together to manipulate the stock.

I have long since disregarded anything that Seeking Alpha has to say about ANYTHING !!!  A complete rag machine if I ever saw one
