The other day I recall a story about a small, battered diamond that was found in a Brazilian riverbed after being violently shot through 410 km of the earth's crust at speeds up to 70 Km/hr as the result of volcanic activity. Very soon I anticipate our little diamond will do the same. But when it reaches the surface, it will grow in brilliance and size.
