Regarding insider selling, you have to research all companies and evaluate insider selling. 100% of companies have had insider (upper management) sell shares -- in some cases that's how they get compensated.

Every company has insider selling, its just going to happen. All investors should know that and be prepared for it when the SEC filings reflect it.
