Whoa whaT? wth? at the 29:40 mark they say they are 4 weeks out from getting the FIRST (only) 10,000 units from Foxconn, and its a mix of NP-c & NP-1? But how do they reconcile that with the shareholder letter put out Feb 18, which says
We have already
announced Ingram Micro as our master distributor for resellers of our product line and we have
recently started seeing the benefit of that relationship with several online resellers positioning
our products on their stores including companies such as PC Nation. We feel that this will
continue to expand as our production inventory levels increase.
Focus on the last sentence; "We feel that this will continue to expand as our inventory levels increase". According to the video, they have no inventory yet. They said they will get THEIR FIRST 10,000 UNITS IN 4 WEEKS? Again, wth? Am I the only one who sees this contradiction?
Also, get this nugget from the SHL
We are very excited about the amount of attention
and interest that we have generated for the products in the few weeks since they were launched. (Launched? But according to the video, they won't get the first 10,00 units till 4 weeks from the video, which according to the poster, was dated March 6? The SHL was put out on Feb 18? Was the NP-1 lainched a few weeks before the SHL or will it be launched in 4 weeks from the video dated 3 weeks AFTER the SHL was put out? See why they are frustrating? See why we question them? And they say they don't do these things? See why I wonder if they are smoking crack?)
Having established our relationship with Foxxconn last fall for our primary manufacturing and
assembly, we have issued several purchase orders for the production of the product. We are
thrilled that the product orders have far exceeded our expectations and we have increased our
production runs several times over our initial orders. (But according to the video, there has only been ONE production run, and it's only 10,000 units, and it hasn't been received yet. Soooo, what were the several pics of boxes meant to convey? They put out a pic of boxes last fall, another in Jan., another more recently. FALSE misleading pics meant to convey the NP-1 was delivered, and here we have confirmation they aren't even having the FIRST order yet? WTH??? sheesh. I knew they were frustrating. At least they are admitting, of course without realizing it, that they misled.)
So, they are further behind than they let on. Well, no wonder this stock is being toyed with. Someone knew they were further behind than they let on, what, with all the pics of boxes that meant nothing and were intended to keep us from getting out of our positions at higher prices and being able to take advantage of 8 cent shares while leading us who bought 15 cent shares to believe the launch, as they said in the SHL released Feb 18, was done already!!! what BA... er, what GALL.
