Toronto, Ontario April 18, 2013- VMedia Inc. is pleased to announce that the CRTC has approved the application by its subsidiary, 2251723 Ontario Inc., to amend the terms of its broadcasting distribution undertaking(BDU) licence to enable VMedia to deliver its innovative TV and “over the top” service to all of Ontario. Under the original terms of its BDU licence VMedia was limited to serving the Greater Toronto Area and Kitchener/Waterloo, as well as Guelph, Chatham, Cornwall, Cambridge and North Bay. With the approval of its application VMedia will as of today begin to offer its TV service to Ottawa, Hamilton-Niagara, Barrie, London, Windsor, Kingston, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and their surrounding areas.
