Great information.. I understand the concept of revised manuals. From personal experience I can say that the organization that I fly for is on its FIFTH revision of the "final" manual that was published in 2009. Keep in mind that the aircraft I fly was brought into service in the late 1970's and had probably twenty revisions before the "final" version was published thirty years later.

They are living, working documents. Anytime a mishap, incident, or accident occurs, expect a change as the NTSB, FAA, manufacturer, and operator realize a better way to respond to emergencies. Truth be told, the manuals are the least of my concern. Let's get that simulator going!
