also, remember that the mine is in a true desert on the lee (rain protected) side of the coastal mountain range-you've seen those protecting mountains in the pics,probably only 7-8 inches precip /year -w VERY DRY air,so any precip soon evaporates
Ensenada faces the open ocean-no coastal range in front of it- and only has 10-11"precip itself- only ca 6-12 rain days/year at the mine
I'm sure sb in his maniacal vendetta against CWRN would have people believing it was a rain forest- no standing water-no rust- amazing finds of well preserved items are found worldwide in such dry conditions
